Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join an established independent automotive workshop. You will perform servicing, routine maintenance and general mechanical repairs across a range of makes and models.

This hands-on role focuses on quality workmanship, safety checks and customer-focused service, with opportunities to work on tyres, brakes and suspension and to develop technical skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic
• Good all-round mechanical knowledge
• Confident carrying out servicing and repairs
• Experience with tyres, brakes and suspension
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance
• Completing general mechanical repairs
• Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults
• Carrying out brake and suspension work
• Completing tyre fitting, balancing and related work where required
• Undertaking vehicle inspections and safety checks
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Supporting the wider workshop team
