Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a family-owned automotive dealership. You will service and repair vehicles, diagnosing faults with manufacturer-level equipment in a modern workshop.

This role offers a £31,000 basic salary with a £36,000 OTE bonus potential, Monday to Friday hours and a Saturday morning rota. You must have level 2 or 3 NVQ in light vehicle maintenance, and dealership experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred.
• Level 2 qualified technicians will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing warranty and non-warranty repairs.
• Carrying out brake, suspension and engine repairs.
• Using manufacturer-specific diagnostic equipment.
• Completing vehicle health checks and inspections.
• Maintaining manufacturer standards and repair procedures.
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
