Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Royal Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Improver to carry out routine servicing, brakes, suspension and general repairs, while working directly with Master Technicians to learn advanced diagnostics and fault-finding.

This role is based in a clean, modern workshop with first-class training facilities; NVQ Level 2 or 3 and 2–5 years hands-on experience are preferred, along with a Full UK driving licence and a genuine hunger to upskill into diagnostics.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent time-served experience)
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a garage, dealership, or fast-fit environment
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine hunger to upskill into diagnostics
• Full UK driving licence & basic hand tools

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, brakes, suspension and general repairs
• Work directly alongside Master Technicians to learn advanced diagnostics and fault-finding

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 (Full 1-hour lunch | Strictly 100% weekend-free)
