Job summary
Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy service centre in Weston-super-Mare. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits, with a 42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, and a rotating Saturday shift.
You will carry out servicing and repairs on cars and light vans, assist with diagnostics, and ensure work complies with safety procedures. IMI/NVQ Level 2 qualification and a full UK driving licence are required.
Qualifications
- UK driving licence with minimal points.
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Practical experience in an automotive workshop preferred.
- Strong team player with good communication.
Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on cars and light vans.
- Ensure work complies with company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Assist with diagnostics and repairs following manufacturer guidelines.
- Complete required documentation promptly and maintain a safe workshop.
