Job summary

Silcom Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician in Portsmouth for a privately owned Southern England dealer. The role covers repair, servicing and diagnostics across two brands, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and earning bonus through inspections and repairs.

The package includes a £30,000 basic salary plus £37,000 realistic OTE, with standard hours and occasional Saturday rota. In-house training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Servicing and Repair preferred, Level 2 acceptable minimum.
• MOT Licence desirable but not essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Undertake repair and servicing of motor vehicles across two brands.
• Carry out inspections and repairs to a variety of vehicles to achieve bonus.
• Perform diagnostic work using brand-specific software and tools where qualified.
