Job summary

Silcom Recruitment is working with a client in Hythe, near Southampton, to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, carry out servicing, and troubleshoot faults in a busy workshop environment.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, a valid driving licence, and at least 2 years of workshop experience. The role offers £50,000 salary, benefits, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, and Saturdays on a 1 in 3 rota.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum.
• Driving Licence is required.
• 2+ years' workshop experience.
• Carry out diagnostics using the latest tools and technologies.
• Carry out servicing and repairs across all makes.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and fault finding on vehicles.
• Carry out routine servicing and complex repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Work in a busy workshop with accuracy and safety.
