Job summary

Silcom Recruitment Limited is recruiting on behalf of an established business located on the outskirts of Portsmouth. We seek an experienced Vehicle Technician to join the team with a rewarding £42,000 basic and an OTE of £45,000.

Role involves diagnosing using the latest tools, carrying out servicing and repairs, MOT-related work, and fault diagnosis while prioritising safety and high-quality workmanship for a diverse range of vehicles. Monday to Friday, with optional Saturday half-day.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualifications considered.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests using the latest tools and technologies
• Carry out routine servicing and complex repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Perform MOT repairs, brake inspections, and safety checks to the highest standards
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring vehicle safety and reliability
