Job summary

Protyre Autocare is seeking a motivated Vehicle Technician to join our expanding team. You will service and repair vehicles using the latest diagnostic tools and equipment, ensuring high standards and safety at all times.

The role includes fast-fit tyre fitting, brake and suspension work, and carrying out MOT repairs in a busy centre. Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in the Automotive sector and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification.
Experience with mechanical and fast-fit repairs including tyre fitting, brakes, suspension.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
Completing fast fit tyre fitting whilst using an alignment machine and interpreting readings for adjustments.
Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical components.
Carrying out MOT repairs.
Adherence to company vehicle inspection procedures.
Use diagnostic equipment to ensure thorough diagnostics, testing and repairs.
Advise on issues vehicles display and timelines for future repair needs.
Work safely and comply with health & safety regulations.
