Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Coventry seeks a qualified Vehicle Technician to join our expanding aftersales department. You will perform routine servicing, recall work and warranty maintenance on a modern, high-tech vehicle lineup to manufacturer standards. The role requires NVQ/IMI Level 3, a full UK driving license and your own hand tools.

DVSA MOT card is a valued asset. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with Saturdays on rotating basis, 28 days holiday, pension scheme, and perks including

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or time-served equivalent.
• Valid UK driving licence and own hand tools are required.
• Experience in franchised dealership or fast-paced workshop is preferred.
• MOT Smart Card is an asset but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and recall work to manufacturer standards.
• Carry out official warranty maintenance and fault diagnosis on modern vehicles.
• Utilize dealership tooling to identify faults and complete repairs efficiently.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + uncapped monthly efficiency bonus
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturdays operated on a fair rotating rota basis

• Proven track record in a franchised dealership or fast-paced workshop setting focused on quality and efficiency.
• Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card is a strong asset (offering higher starting pay potential), but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
