Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in the Derby area is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician / Dealership Mechanic to join its busy aftersales department. You will perform routine servicing, warranty repairs, recall updates and fault diagnosis across a modern vehicle lineup, following strict brand guidelines and quality standards.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 or equivalent, time-served dealership experience, and a full UK driving licence with your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification).
• Time-served dealership or fast-paced workshop background with strong multi-point inspection experience.
• Active DVSA MOT Tester accreditation is advantageous, but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manufacturer servicing and warranty repairs to brand guidelines.
• Conduct recall updates and systematic fault diagnosis across a modern vehicle lineup.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks in line with dealership standards.
• Engage in ongoing training to maintain master technician capabilities.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + uncapped monthly productivity scheme
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturdays operated on a fair rotating rota basis
