Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a reputable, well-established garage near Sevenoaks, Kent. You will service and repair cars and light commercial vehicles, perform diagnostics, and uphold high standards of workmanship.

Joining a friendly, collaborative workshop, you will benefit from a modern facility, four ramps, dealer-level diagnostic tools, and ongoing training to advance diagnostic and mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a reputable workshop.
• Level 3 qualification or substantial practical experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills across multiple makes.
• Experience with fleet and light commercial vehicles is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and mechanical repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Conduct diagnostics using Snap-on, Autel and dealer-level laptops.
• Perform mechanical work such as clutch replacements and cambelt changes.
• Provide initial diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify faults.
• Manage a diverse workload including fleet maintenance and individual vehicles.
• Ensure all work meets health and safety guidelines and manufacturer specs.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate findings to customers and management.
