Job summary

Aka Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a thriving Leeds-based workshop to recruit a Vehicle Technician. You will service, maintain and repair a wide range of makes and models, using the latest diagnostic equipment to identify faults and carry out high quality repairs.

This role offers a competitive basic salary starting at £32,000, with overtime, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am to 12:30pm. Join a friendly, family-run business with excellent earning potential.

Qualifications

Qualified to Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Experience as a Vehicle Technician in automotive workshop.
MOT Testing Licence advantageous but not essential.
Own tools and full UK driving licence required.
Positive attitude and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and perform repairs to manufacturer standards.
Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components accurately.
Complete vehicle health checks and document all work.
Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment.
Work with Service Advisors and Workshop Controller to meet timescales.
