Job summary

West End Garage in Dunfermline (Halbeath Motor Park) is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join the Aftersales team on a full-time basis. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles, supported by a strong workshop team and modern diagnostic equipment.

The role welcomes both new Level 3 graduates and experienced technicians. Training and manufacturer accreditation will be provided to develop your skills towards recognised qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Service & Repair or equivalent.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer care.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills toward accreditation goals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Undertake fault diagnosis and repairs appropriate to your level, seeking support when required.
• Complete vehicle inspections and pre-delivery checks.
• Record Digital Vehicle Health Checks to explain vehicle condition to customers.
• Work with Workshop Controller to manage daily workload.
• Provide clear feedback to Service Advisors on additional work required.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and accreditation.
