Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established main dealership in West London. The role requires workshop experience, a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, and a valid Full UK Driving Licence.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, carry out services and repairs to manufacturer standards, and complete pre-delivery inspections. The position offers up to £51,200 OTE and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Right to work in the UK must be demonstrated.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in a main dealership or independent garage.
• Previous workshop experience with servicing and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs.
• Carry out authorised mechanical repairs and warranty work.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections and fit vehicle accessories.
• Road-test vehicles to confirm repairs and maintain accurate workshop documentation.
