Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Maidstone is seeking an experienced automotive technician for a full-time, permanent role. You’ll earn a guaranteed base between £32k and £42k, with uncapped bonuses and paid overtime that can push earnings beyond £50k when targets are met.

You’ll join a respected, family-run auto group with modern facilities, dedicated bays, and access to the latest diagnostic platforms. Expect a balanced Mon–Fri schedule with occasional Saturday overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or proven time-served experience).
• Background in independent, dealer, or fast-fit environments is welcome.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Core repairs across cars and LCVs (timing belts, clutches, suspension, brakes, steering).
• Diagnostics: trace and fix electrical, engine management and high-voltage EV faults.
• Servicing and MOTs to manufacturer standards.
