Job summary

Listers Group, a leading motor retailer, is recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our Mercedes-Benz dealership in Hull. The role offers a structured career path with training, a competitive basic salary plus OTE, and opportunity to work on premium vehicles in a modern workshop.

You will service, repair and diagnose a range of vehicles, including EVs/Hybrids, with manufacturer standards in mind. A full UK driving licence is required and training is provided to support your progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Electric/Hybrid vehicle qualification advantageous but not essential; full training provided.
• MOT Licence beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Experience in automotive service/repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repair and diagnostics of vehicles in the workshop to high standards.
• Electrical and mechanical repairs including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and AC servicing.
• Repairs and maintenance on EV/Hybrid vehicles with diagnostic equipment usage.
• Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment where required.
• Maintain focus on Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
• Operate additional systems like CitNOW for video reporting and service documentation.
• Complete service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Collaborate with workshop team to continually learn and improve.
