Job summary

Listers Group is recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our Mercedes-Benz dealership in Grimsby. Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm with Saturdays on a rota. Basic salary up to £35,000 with OTE up to £46,000 plus benefits, plus excellent training opportunities to progress to Mercedes-Benz Qualified Service Technician or Master Technician.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
• MOT License would also be beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repair and diagnostics of all vehicles to the highest standard first time.
• Electrical and mechanical repairs including suspension, steering, brakes, driveshafts, exhausts and air conditioning servicing.
• Repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles using electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
• Complete service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Work closely with other workshop team members to share knowledge.
• Training to operate additional systems such as video reporting (CitNOW).
• Maintain focus on customer satisfaction and its impact on the business.
