Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a Carlisle dealer for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team and progress in the motor trade.

You will diagnose, repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards, perform MOT testing, and keep accurate records of work and parts used. The role offers a competitive salary, 33 days leave, pension, and training including IMI EV maintenance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Automotive Technology.
• MOT testing qualification is essential.
• Experience in a dealership environment.
• Willingness to undertake EV maintenance training.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of technical advice, customer service and vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnose, repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform MOT testing as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work and parts used.
• Stay up-to-date with EV technology.
