Job summary

Perfect Placement in Wellingborough is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join a busy fast-fit centre. You will deliver MOT tests and quality servicing across a range of makes and models, ensuring compliance with DVSA standards and high customer satisfaction.

The role is full-time with a competitive salary and an uncapped monthly bonus, plus 28 days holiday, employee discounts, sick pay and ongoing training including EV & Hybrid, MOT, and REACT courses.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Tester licence is essential.
• Proven experience in fast-fit centre, independent garage, or dealership.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Hands-on experience with tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and regulations.
• Diagnose faults and carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Work on brakes, tyres, steering, suspension and wheel alignment.
