Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our independent service centre in Haslemere. You will perform scheduled maintenance, tackle general and heavy mechanical repairs, and work to keep a smooth daily workflow.

We offer a tailored salary of £37,500 to £42,500 per year, Monday to Friday, with no weekends. The role includes funded training to obtain an MOT Tester licence and F-Gas certification, plus on-site parking and a pension.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or time-served equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence and your own hand tools.
• Active MOT Tester licence or F-Gas certification is a bonus (funded to acquire).
• Experience from light servicing to heavy mechanical work and diagnostic support.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Carry out general to heavy mechanical work (clutches, cambelts, suspension).
• Conduct diagnostic fault-finding and support the workshop workflow.
• Complete digital job cards accurately and timely.
