Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic. You will be skilled in servicing and repair work, and you’ll handle tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements as well as diagnostics across vehicle electrics, brakes, steering and suspension.

This role offers a base salary of £31,480–£36,620 with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme averaging £6,600 per year and on-target earnings up to £43,220. Join a large UK motoring group with strong benefits and progression opportunities within

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical).

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repair/replacement work.
