Job summary

A well-established, independent, multi-franchise main car dealership in Maidenhead, Berkshire invites applications for a Vehicle Technician to join their friendly service team.

Offering a basic salary of £38,000 per year plus a bonus scheme with OTE exceeding £45,000, the role provides structured hours from 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a 1 in 3 rota (8.30am–12.30pm) and overtime paid.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop environment.
• Strong diagnostic skills and comprehensive technical knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle repairs, servicing, and diagnostics efficiently and accurately.
• Identify faults and provide appropriate solutions to ensure vehicle quality and safety.
• Maintain detailed service and repair records in line with industry standards.
• Work collaboratively with the service team to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and dealership policies.
• Complete work within allocated timeframes to optimise workshop productivity.
