Job summary

My client, a well established main dealership in Newbury, is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their aftersales team. This is a modern, manufacturer-approved workshop with strong training and development opportunities.

The role offers long-term stability, with a starting salary of £38,153 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, OTE £45,000. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, plus 25 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience in a workshop environment.
• Minimum Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical skills and reliable attendance.
• Own a well stocked toolbox appropriate for workshop duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and perform fault finding.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension, and clutch components.
• Cambelt replacement.
