Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Vehicle Technician for a reputable dealership in Loughton, Essex. This full-time role offers a structured career path in a professional setting focused on high standards of vehicle maintenance and customer service.

The position requires a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with preferred experience in servicing and warranty work. MOT licence is desirable; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic, exposure to warranty and servicing procedures is desirable.
• MOT licence is desirable; full training will be provided for individuals without this certification.
• Strong teamwork ethic with a commitment to high workmanship and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles, including diagnostics and warranty work.
• Perform tasks such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and general maintenance activities.
• Complete accurate and timely digital write-ups and job cards.
• Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) to diagnose faults and ensure vehicle safety.
• Adhere to manufacturer procedures and safety standards to maintain quality standards as theVehicle Technician.
• Support team colleagues in delivering excellent customer service and uphold workshop standards.
