Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a well-established manufacturer-owned dealership in Bolton. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with the latest diagnostic technology in a busy, professional workshop.

Qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or similar professional environment.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
Willingness to expand technical knowledge through manufacturer training and self-development.

Responsibilities

Perform routine servicing and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards.
Diagnose vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems.
Carry out mechanical repairs, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and conduct vehicle health checks.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to high-quality standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with a professional team of Vehicle Technicians to deliver excellent service.
Ensure the workshop environment is safe, clean, and organised.
