Job summary

Major Recruitment Ashford is partnering with a family-owned dealer group in Canterbury to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician for their busy workshop. You will perform diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs to Stellantis standards, delivering high-quality workmanship. Competitive salary range (£32,000 - £39,000) with a bonus scheme and ongoing training.

Monday–Friday, plus Saturday morning rota. Full UK driving licence and Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (main dealer or independent background considered).
• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults accurately using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Complete work to Stellantis manufacturer standards and guidelines.
• Ensure all job cards and documentation are completed accurately and promptly.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment.
• Keep up to date with technical training and manufacturer updates.
