Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for their Widnes Autocentres. You will perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics, including tasks like clutch and timing belt replacements, and work on brake, steering, and electrical systems.

The role requires a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time-served experience, plus a full driving licence with <=9 points. Expect a base salary in the £33k–£35k range with an uncapped bonus scheme contributing around £7,100 annually.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical)
