Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join a reputable family-run automotive service centre in Stroud. You will diagnose faults, service and repair vehicles, and contribute to customer safety and satisfaction in a busy, quality-focused workshop.

Requirements include NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a valid UK driving licence, and experience with diagnostics. MOT licences are an advantage.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Experience in fault diagnostics, servicing and repairs.
• Active MOT licence is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault diagnosis on a variety of vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine servicing, maintenance and repairs to vehicle standards.
• Complete MOTs, subject to holding an active MOT licence.
• Ensure all work adheres to health and safety procedures and quality standards.
• Accurately report vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance to the management team.
• Maintain a tidy and organised workshop environment, complying with health and safety regulations.
• Assist fellow team members in achieving workshop targets and customer satisfaction as a Vehicle Technician.
