Job summary

Catering in Evesham is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a leading automotive group. The role offers a competitive salary with progression, and you will work in a modern workshop on prestigious vehicle brands. The ideal candidate has IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, strong diagnostics, and a UK driving licence.

MOT and hybrid-vehicle experience are desirable. Monday to Friday with Saturday roata duties on a rota, benefiting from training and career

Qualifications

IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
Significant experience working within automotive workshops.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
UK driving licence with minimal points.
MOT licence, hybrid vehicle technology experience and familiarity with VAG vehicles desirable but not essential.
Motivated team player with a high standard of workmanship.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy dealership environment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance, inspecting components for wear and tear.
Conduct fault diagnosis and testing of faulty parts.
Support the preparation and maintenance of new, used, and loan vehicles.
Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing knowledge and skills.
Contribute to ensuring high quality standards within the workshop environment.
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
Support the development of technical skills through training and professional development.
