The role offers £35,000–£40,000 per year, a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturday mornings, and fully funded manufacturer training to keep your skills current and future-proof in a modern diagnostic facility.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent).
• Proven track record in a professional workshop setting.
• F-Gas certification preferred or interest in obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, safety inspections, diagnosis, and mechanical repairs to brand specifications.
• Use up-to-date diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to troubleshoot faults (electrical, mechanical).
• Accurately complete digital job cards, service reports and fault descriptions.
• Work productively alongside workshop colleagues to maintain a smooth, efficient workflow.

The Rewards

• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year basic (Tailored directly to your current experience and technical skillset).
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, plus a short Saturday morning shift (08:00 - 12:30) on a comfortable 1-in-2 rotation.

Your Role

Working in our high-spec Chippenham workshop, you will:

What You Need

• Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Proven track record in a professional workshop setting. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
• Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required (fully funded training can be provided).
• Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools. Confident, professional approach with excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
