Job summary

Brindley MG in Wolverhampton is inviting applications for a Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. You will carry out inspections, repairs and maintenance with strong technical knowledge, and demonstrate high standards in diagnosis and workmanship while holding a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential.
  • Must hold a clean, full UK driving licence.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of vehicles.
  • High-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out detailed Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs).
  • Performing mechanical and electrical repairs on customer vehicles.
  • Diagnosing faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
  • Carrying out servicing and maintenance work in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Road testing vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Completing manufacturer inspection check sheets accurately.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
  • Supporting the wider aftersales team to deliver customer satisfaction.

Job description

Brindley MG are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our team at our busy workshop in Wolverhampton.

We require an individual who holds a level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance. The successful candidate will be required to carry out careful inspections, repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles, whilst being able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge to ensure any diagnosis work is carried out to a high standard. Due to the nature of the work, the candidates must also hold a clean, full UK driving license.

Key Responsibilities

About You
  • Must hold a Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance

  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
  • Strong ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
  • Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Motivated, reliable and team-focused attitude
