Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a well-established independent garage in Ellesmere Port. The role involves servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles and requires diagnostic skills and a full UK driving licence.

Salary up to £45,000 per annum, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, no weekend work. Holds Level 3 or 4 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification, at least one year of workshop experience, and pride in high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Has Level 3 or 4 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of workshop experience in a garage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete work efficiently and to a high standard.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards.
• Maintain accurate job records and communicate effectively with the workshop team.

The Role

About You

• Holds a Level 3 or Level 4 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).


• Has at least one year's workshop experience within a garage environment.


• Can work independently and hit the ground running.


• Has excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills (preferred).


• Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.


• Holds a full UK driving licence.
