Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Crawley is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established dealership. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards while using diagnostic equipment.

The role offers a 42.5‑hour week, a competitive salary between £32,000 and £38,000 with realistic £50,000 OTE, plus generous holiday allowance and productivity bonuses. A supportive team and strong brand are on offer.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and complete repairs.
• Explain completed work to customers professionally.

Duties

• As a Vehicle Technician, carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Use diagnostic equipment effectively to identify faults and complete repairs
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately and to a high standard
• Record job details clearly and accurately on the service system
• Explain completed work and necessary repairs to customers professionally
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive role
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and repair skills
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
