Our client, a well-established and respected automotive retailer, is looking for a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their busy service department. Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:

• Competitive basic salary ranging from £32,000 to £38,000, depending on experience
• Realistic on-target earnings of up to £50,000 per annum with bonus incentives
• Working hours of 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and perform vehicle repairs to manufacturer standards
• Service and maintain vehicles efficiently, ensuring high-quality workmanship
• Effectively utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to identify faults
• Accurately record all work completed within the dealership’s system
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and necessary work in a clear and professional manner
• Assist in maintaining workshop safety and cleanliness
• Support team members to ensure workshop efficiency and meet deadlines

Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a thorough understanding of vehicle systems
• Relevant UK automotive qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
