Job summary

Evans Halshaw is opening a new Omoda & Jaecoo Sunderland service centre and seeks a technician to work on customer vehicles. The role offers a flexible 4-day week (45-hour base) with alternative patterns (40/42.5 hours) discussed at interview.

Basic salary up to £33,643, with OTE up to £36,073 and a £2,000 joining bonus. Benefits include 33 days holiday, pension, life assurance, discounts, and ample training.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience of completing cam belt and clutch replacements.
• Equipped with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles to the highest industry standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality targets while working in the workshop.

FLEXIBLE 4-DAY WORKING WEEK AVAILABLE – Salaries are based on a 45 hour working week. Alternative 40 and 42.5-hour working patterns are also available and can be discussed at interview stage.

• Basic Salary up to £33,643 - Dependent on skills and experience
• OTE up to £36,073, with UNCAPPED EARNING POTENTIAL
• PTE ranging from £40,000 - £45,000 for Vehicle Technicians & £50,000 - £55,000 for Diagnostic & Master Technicians

Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We are looking for someone who is:

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Experience of completing cam belt and clutch replacements
• Equipped with a full UK driving licence
• Technical knowledge to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles
• Experienced of working to the highest quality standards, with the drive to exceed expectations and productivity targets
• Capable of using systems and equipment within our workshop
