Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy main dealership in Darlington. You will service, maintain and repair customer vehicles, diagnose faults and complete workshop paperwork to high standards.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent, with prior dealership experience. Salary up to £39,848 basic plus uncapped bonus (OTE up to £43,448), 40 hours per week and a range of employee benefits.

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy dealership setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment to investigate and resolve faults.
• Complete repairs efficiently and to required quality standards.
• Accurately complete workshop and service documentation.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Darlington. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent and have previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.

Location: Darlington

Salary: Up to £39,848 Basic + Uncapped Bonus

OTE: Up to £43,448

Hours: 40 hours per week
