Paul Rigby Ltd in Stafford (Tollgate Drive) is seeking a skilled Volvo Vehicle Technician to join our busy service department. You will diagnose, maintain and repair a range of vehicles, perform inspections, and work closely with the team to deliver reliable, high‑quality workmanship for our customers.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an automotive technician in the automotive industry.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills with a professional manner.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostics using advanced tools and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre replacements.
• Identify and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and labour time.
• Work closely with the service team to provide timely updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices as required.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
