Octane Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Vehicle Technician in St Helens. The role focuses on servicing and maintaining vehicles, diagnosing faults, and carrying out MOT duties where qualified.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent; Level 2 considered with main dealership experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty work per brand parameters.
• MOT testing duties if qualified.

Salary – Up to £42,000 Basic + Efficiency Bonus + Team Bonus + Overtime DOE & Qualifications

Days– Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, Saturday mornings on a rota(8:30am – 12:30pm), 42.5 hours per week

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, Mechanical Engineering or City & Guilds level 3 (or equivalent) but we will also consider level 2 with main dealership experience
