Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is assisting a leading main dealer group in Newcastle to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician. The role covers servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and MOT testing if qualified. A full UK driving licence is required.

The salary offers up to £43,000 basic with uncapped bonus plus a £3,000 productivity bonus and additional bonuses, with overtime and an overall OTE around £52,400 depending on qualifications and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving license.
• Qualified to Level 3 automotive engineering or equivalent (or Level 2 with main dealer experience).

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair (may include warranty work).
• MOT testing duties if qualified.

Days– Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm, Saturday mornings on a rota, 40 hours per week

Vehicle Technician Role:
