Job summary

Vertu Mercedes Benz of Slough is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team. The role focuses on delivering quality workmanship, achieving first-time fixes, and providing an exceptional customer experience.

The successful candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 in Automotive, have current Vehicle Technician experience, own a tools set, and hold a full UK driving licence. Mercedes-Benz experience is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Your own set of tools.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience working on Mercedes Benz would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience through quality workmanship and first-time fixes.
• Contribute to vehicle servicing and repair work in line with manufacturer standards.
• Support the team in maintaining high safety and quality levels.

Join our team at Vertu Mercedes Benz of Slough and become a valued Vehicle Technician.

We are offering a basic salary of £38,800. You will also have the opportunity to earn additional over-performance bonus. We’re currently trialling closing on Saturday & Sundays, giving you time to recharge! We are also offering £1,000 sign on bonus in month 1 of employment and an additional £1,000 in month 13!

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
• Experience working on Mercedes Benz would be beneficial but is not essential
