Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience in diagnostic work and complex repairs.

Responsibilities

• Skilled in servicing and repair work including clutch and timing belt replacements.
• Handle diagnostics and work on vehicle electrics, brakes, steering, and suspension.

Job description

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

£30,339 - £35,672 per annum

• Average uncapped bonus of £4,800 per year (with potential to earn more)

• Voluntary Saturdays paid time and a half

As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, you should be skilled in servicing and repair work. You’ll be capable of handling complex tasks such as clutch and timing belt replacements, diagnostics, and work on vehicle electrics, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.

Skills and Experience:

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR relevant experience
• Must hold a full driver’s license with no more than 9 points
• Experience in diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and complex repairs (coolant, diesel injectors, head gasket, electrical)
