Job summary

Perfect Placement are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a reputable dealership in Rugby. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role offers a competitive base salary of £35,000, realistic on-target earnings of £40,000 to £44,000, uncapped bonus, Monday–Friday plus a 1-in-3 Saturday rota, and clear opportunities for development in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop.
• Strong mechanical understanding across a variety of vehicle systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Demonstrable capability to undertake all aspects of vehicle servicing and repair work, excluding diagnostics.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle servicing and routine maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Perform mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify necessary work.
• Ensure repairs and servicing are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support the workshop team to deliver excellent customer service and quality workmanship.
• Assist with additional duties as required to maintain workshop performance.
