Vehicle Technician

Salary: 36,000 to start, with annual salary increase of up to 5%. Overtime available if desired.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, days, 42 hours, with flexible options. No weekends!

Location: Oldbury

My client is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for their company in Oldbury. We are seeking a Technician who wants to join a growing company with excellent progression opportunities. Ideally, candidates from a main dealer background or with LCV experience are encouraged to apply.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Service and maintain customer vehicles
2. Liaise with workshop controllers and managers
3. Carry out diagnostics
4. Perform Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs)

Requirements:

• Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Repairs or equivalent, with proof of qualifications/certificates
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a large garage, main dealer, or commercial vehicles
• Full driving license
• Ability to do cam belts, clutches, head gaskets, diagnostics
• Own tools
