Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for an established dealership in Newbury, Berkshire. The role offers a basic salary of £34,000-£38,000 with an uncapped bonus potential of £8,000+ and Monday-Friday hours, 8:00am-5:00pm, with some flexibility on start/finish times.

An MOT Tester qualification is desirable or a pathway to qualification. In this position you will service, maintain and repair vehicles to high standards, diagnose faults, and perform inspections.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and fault diagnostic abilities.
• Willingness to obtain MOT Tester qualification if not held already.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing vehicle inspections and identifying necessary repairs.
• Carrying out MOT tests if appropriately qualified.

The Opportunity

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting experienced Vehicle Technicians for an established dealership in Newbury.

This is an opportunity for a skilled Technician looking for a Monday-Friday working pattern, a competitive basic salary and the potential to earn significantly more through an uncapped bonus structure.

Ideally, you'll already hold a valid MOT Tester licence. However, we're also interested in speaking with experienced Technicians who are willing to become MOT qualified shortly after joining.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles to a high standard.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing vehicle inspections and identifying necessary repairs.
• Carrying out MOT tests if appropriately qualified.
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of completed work.

What We're Looking For

You'll need:

• A Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent recognised automotive qualification.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Previous hands-on experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and repair vehicle faults.
• Experience carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• A willingness to gain your MOT Tester qualification promptly if you don't already hold one.

Ideally, you'll also have

• A valid MOT Tester licence.
• Previous experience working within a franchised dealership environment.

An existing MOT licence would be an advantage, but it isn't essential if you're an experienced, qualified Technician prepared to work towards the qualification.
