Job summary

Autotech Recruit, on behalf of a well-established independent garage group in Greater Manchester, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a diverse range of vehicles, including hybrids and EVs, using modern diagnostic equipment.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £39,000 per annum depending on experience, with 28 days holiday and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong knowledge of suspensions and brakes.
• Experience across multiple vehicle makes and models.
• Ability to diagnose faults and problem-solve effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform general servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models
• Diagnose and repair suspension and brake systems effectively
• Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
• Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of work
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication regarding vehicle issues and repairs

Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Failsworth
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday

This role involves general servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles, including all makes and models. The business works on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, light commercial vehicles, hybrids, and EVs, using modern workshop equipment and advanced diagnostic technology.
