My Client is a main car dealership in Macclesfield, who are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join their team.

Job Introduction

A Vehicle Technician will have superb technical knowledge, a professional attitude, and will ensure that the highest quality of service is maintained.

In return, you’ll be working with a company that genuinely cares about its colleagues and maintains some of the most pristine and prestigious showrooms and workshops in the country.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Utilise your technical knowledge
  • Test, diagnose, and resolve faults
  • Suggest and implement improvements to processes
  • Work on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Inspect components for wear and tear
  • Repair and replace parts
  • Liaise with customers when necessary
  • Support other Technicians in the Workshop

The Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work to the highest quality standards
  • Excellent team player and communication skills
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping
  • Experience working towards efficiency targets
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferable but not essential
  • VOSA approved MOT tester is an advantage but not essential
  • Must hold a Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair NVQ or equivalent
