Job summary

Regional Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a market-leading repair facility in Leicester. Immediate start available; permanent full-time role with a competitive salary of £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience.

You will diagnose and repair a range of vehicles, complete job cards, and work to manufacturer standards. Essential NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent); MOT Tester is desirable. Must be able to work Saturdays on a rota.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership environment.
• Able to diagnose systems and fault find on a range of vehicles.
• Ability to work confidently and accurately on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Performing thorough vehicle health checks and reporting issues to the service advisor.
• Working to manufacturer service and repair standards.
• Completing job cards and service reports with accuracy.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to.
• Working Saturdays on rota.

Essential:

• Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership environment
• Able to diagnose systems and easily fault find on a range of vehicles
• Ability to work confidently and accurately on your own initiative with minimal supervision
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent

Desirable:

• MOT Tester certification
• Manufacturer specific training
