Job summary

Autotech Recruit in Leicester is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a stable, well-equipped workshop. You will perform servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a variety of vehicles, ensuring high standards and timely completion.

The role offers a basic salary of £40,000–£45,000, Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:30pm, no weekends, with ongoing training and development in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Time-served Vehicle Technician or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Experience in main dealer or independent garage.
• Capable of servicing, repairs and diagnostics.

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a variety of vehicles, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.

The workshop is fully equipped with dealership-level diagnostic and repair equipment, giving technicians access to the tools they need to do the job efficiently and effectively.

What We’re Looking For

• Time-served Vehicle Technician or qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)


• Experience within either a main dealer or independent garage environment


• Confident carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics


• Team player who works collaboratively with colleagues


• Comfortable asking for support when needed and willing to learn from others


• Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
