Job summary

Holt-Recruitment in Leeds is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy dealership workshop. You’ll service, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards, with ongoing training and real opportunities for career progression.

The role offers up to £42,000 basic salary with an OTE of £51,400, a 42.5‑hour week, and a strong emphasis on quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Previous dealership experience is desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to high‑quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete vehicle health checks and inspections
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards
• Accurately record work carried out and parts used
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver excellent customer service

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards. You'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality workmanship while helping to keep the workshop running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles
