Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician in Leeds for a leading main dealer group. You will service and maintain vehicles and diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults, including warranty work where required.

MOT testing duties may be included if qualified, with a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction. The package offers up to £42,000 basic plus bonus and overtime DOE.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering Level 3 (or equivalent).
• MOT License is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty work.
• MOT testing duties if qualified.

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent). We will also consider a level 2 if you have main dealership experience
• MOT License is preferred but not essential
